I’m finding a road
that runs through my head
I’m thinking out loud
while I’m lying in bed
I’m drawing a line
between this thing and that
I’m wearing a coat
with a lumberjack hat.
Oh, Oh, it’s kind of crazy just how lazy I can be
Oh, Oh, it’s just a game, but it’s a shame that I am me
I’m rambling on
so I’m singing this song
though I’m happiest knowing
my friends are all wrong
while It’s raining in spain
and I’m feeling your pain
i’ve marked all the cards
and I’m losing again
Oh, Oh, it’s kind of crazy just how lazy I can be
Oh, Oh, it’s just a game, but it’s a shame that I am me
it’s later than ever
it’s now and it’s never
i wish I was smart
but i’ll settle for clever
i’m still in my bed
and you’re still in my head
and I’m thinking too hard
about all that you said
Oh, Oh, it’s kind of crazy just how lazy I can be
Oh, Oh, it’s just a game, but it’s a shame that I am me

PROBABLY FINE
Someone will die today
maybe you know his name
maybe he went to your school
It won’t be an accident
He couldn’t pay the rent
and wouldn ‘t live life as the fool
nothing is good when every thing’s wrong
the world keeps on turning and we all walk along
he can scream he can cry just to pass away time
he’s probably fine
after the hurricane,
earthquakes and airplanes,
turned all our plans to the dust
cheap sermons, broken prayers
lost friends, and empty chairs
thank god it’s in him we trust
turn to the heavens and pray to the lord
he’s promised eternity as your reward
reach out your hands from the back of the line
you’re probably fine
standing out on the bridge
looking out from the ledge
the wind and the air in my face
god has forgiven me
i pray that’s what i believe
step off and fall out of grace
mary and joseph and jesus and i
ate from the tree that would make us all die
i walked on the water but drank too much wine
I’m probably fine
